Branding from scratch through imagination and narrative-crafting
Imagine being contacted by an educational app company called 'Knowmadika' asking for branding and logo-design services. Their flagship product of the same name is meant to augment learning in museum settings.
Context
This project was taken on during my first semester in the University of Michigan School of Information’s MSI program in the SI520 Graphic Design course.
The Client
Knowmadika is a fictional application meant to augment learning in museum settings. It serves as an interactive guide to museum exhibits, and provide relevant questions and in-app activities to help students retain knowledge acquired at the museum.
My role
I designed a new logo in Adobe Illustrator and provided a detailed style guide that gave guidelines on typeface, color schemes, and logo-printing 'safe zones'.
